Exciting Goals for the 2024-25 Academic Year At Tzu Chi Academy London

As we begin a new academic year, Tzu Chi Academy London is excited to share our vision and goals for 2024-25. Our focus is on providing enriching, cross-cultural experiences, and we are committed to enhancing language proficiency and cultural understanding through dynamic programs and initiatives.

Key Goals for the New School Year:

International Buddy Program for Language Exchange

We will continue strengthening our cross-national language and cultural exchange with Year 5 & Year 6 students from Min Quan Elementary School in Taipei, Taiwan. This program aims to create a meaningful exchange of language skills and cultural understanding, benefiting students from both countries.

English Teaching Summer Camp in Taiwan

Youth aged 17-25 will have the opportunity to apply for the exciting English Teaching Summer Camp in Taiwan. This immersive program allows young people to contribute to English education in remote rural areas of Taiwan while gaining valuable cultural experience.

University-Level Collaboration

We are actively exploring partnerships with Mandarin learning centres at universities. Discussions are underway for mutual visits and exchanges, including participation in the Taiwan Summer Mandarin Camp at Tzu Chi University, offering further learning opportunities for our students.

Parent-Child Cultural & Language Learning Summer Camp

We are planning a 7-10-day self-funded summer camp that will offer families the unique experience of immersing themselves in both language and cultural learning.

Upholding Tzu Chi Humanistic Values

Our school remains committed to incorporating Tzu Chi humanistic values into the curriculum, including Jing Si Aphorisms, sign language, and the Jing Si tea ceremony, all aimed at nurturing mindfulness and character development.

Expanding Enrollment and New Partnerships

As part of our growth strategy, we are working closely with Redbridge Council to build new partnerships and expand our student body, welcoming more learners into the Tzu Chi community.

Teacher Training Plan

We plan to hold regular teacher training events at Tzu Chi Academy London, aiming to enhance teaching skills and ensure that our educators meet the highest professional standards.
