As the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival coincided with class day, teachers introduced the festival’s origins, cultural significance, and foods through storytelling, handmade paper lanterns, and poetry activities, deepening students’ appreciation for this beloved celebration.
Later, teachers, students, and volunteers gathered in the cafeteria for a hands-on cultural session, making snow-skin mooncakes, cutting pomelos, and crafting pomelo hats in an atmosphere of laughter and collaboration across generations.
The celebration concluded with everyone sharing mooncakes and pomelos — a warm and joyful prelude to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
